Relegated from previous school for burning down the gym, Buffy Summers starts attending the Sunnydale High School. She quickly makes first friends in persons of Xander Harris and Willow Rosenberg. She aknowledges fast that her duty as the Slayer didn’t end and now she has to protect Sunnydale from the forces if evil. Rupert Giles becomes her mentor and Watcher, at the same time taking care of the school library.
